Our new laser is now up and running, thanks to Trumpf for the quick and smooth commissioning.



Applied Metal Technology Ltd are proud to announce the arrival of a Trumpf Trulaser 3030 Fiber into our new extended premises giving us the ability to process mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper in a wide range of thicknesses.

Apprentice offered full time role

Apprentice Patrick Ganiebny has been studying Fabrication & Welding at Leeds College for 4 years. Following in a long line of Apprentices that have been offered roles with the company, we’re proud that Patrick is joining us as a full time member of the team as a Sheet Metal Worker.

Applied Metal celebrates 12 years in business this August

Over the last 12 years we have steadily grown from just one unit to now having three units. We’ve seen a lot of changes and worked with a lot of people and trained a lot of apprentices who we are proud to say are still part of the team.

New Apprentice starts training

With a strong belief in the Apprenticeship Scheme, this July sees us taking another Apprentice, Callum Credland.  Callum will be following a long line of Apprentices that have started their career with us. We wish you all the best and are sure that you will have a bright future.

New equipment means even shorter lead times for customers

We’re pleased to announce the expansion of our business with the addition of 4 new welding plants and a 3 metre press brake. This has increased our capacity and our clients are benefiting from even quicker lead times. New state-of-the art CAD system aids design

To help identify any potential problems from design to realisation and production, we have installed a new state-of-the art CAD system. This will help prevent costly mistakes and is available for our clients to use too if they don’t have access to their own design system.
